Christine has extensive experience with corporate reorganizations, unanimous shareholder agreements, contract drafting, buying and selling businesses, lease negotiations, secured financing, and succession planning strategies, including estate planning for individuals. Christine helps clients achieve positive results by offering pragmatic and personalized legal services in a timely manner.
Christine graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts (great distinction), and she received her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta (with distinction).
Kayla A. Plausteiner,

With a focus on advising businesses and the people in them at every stage of development, Kayla has extensive experience in business formation, contracts, corporate governance, buying and selling businesses, succession planning, shareholder agreements, secured financing, trusts and individual estate planning.
Kayla graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts (great distinction) in Philosophy and received a Bachelor of Laws (Upper Class) from Queen Mary University of London before moving back to Canada, to settle into a legal career in her local community.
Kayla also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor, at the University of Lethbridge, where she teaches various classes in the Dhillon School of Business including Management Law and Building Sustainable Family Enterprises.

Suzanne combines her technical background in Neuroscience with 15 years of Intellectual Property experience to effectively develop and manage her clients’ IP assets.
As a registered patent and trademark agent, Suzanne provides clients with legal opinions on patentability, trademark registration, freedom-to-operate, due diligence analysis, and IP portfolio management. Suzanne’s clients include a broad range of early-stage and established companies and post-secondary institutions.
Suzanne grew up in Lethbridge and attended the University of Lethbridge, earning a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. After completing her Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the University of Alberta, Suzanne attended law school at the U of A with an aim to practice intellectual property, bridging the gap between the scientific and legal spheres.

Val has been a dedicated paralegal for over 40 years, with significant experience assisting lawyers and clients on all matters related to business law, secured financing, and estate planning and administration. With her background in bookkeeping, Val is well-versed on accounting matters and general office management. Her sensible
approach to unexpected challenges, coupled with her exceptional communication skills and relationship-building capabilities, makes her an instrumental member of the team. Val has always called Southern Alberta home; she grew up on a grain farm/feedlot near Nobleford and settled in Lethbridge to raise her family and build her legal career.
